About Nick Smallman

Nick Smallman is the Founder and CEO of Working Voices, an international professional skills consultancy and author of Engaging Teams. He has developed over 100 courses, workshops, and seminars on human communication and social wellbeing, and has lectured at London and Columbia Business Schools. He has worked with some of the world’s most successful companies — including JP Morgan, Google, Sony Music, and Burberry — as well as advising politicians in the UK and US. In 2020, he shifted his focus to understanding why so many people feel dissatisfied with modern life, uncovering troubling trends linked to technology and AI. Known for his informal, conversational, and thought-provoking style, Nick helps people find clarity, purpose, and practical skills they can immediately apply. Based in London, he also mentors young entrepreneurs.

On the day, Nick will guide you through a series of engaging, thought‑provoking sessions designed to spark new ways of thinking about your work, your relationships, and your role in an AI‑driven world. You’ll explore how technology is already shaping the way we live and connect, and what the future could hold if we do — or don’t — adapt. Expect sharp insights, lively group discussions, and practical exercises you can take straight back into your everyday life. From challenging your assumptions to building skills in Intellectual Self‑Defence and Reversing the Attention Capture, Nick’s focus is on giving you the tools, confidence, and clarity to navigate change with purpose — and stay ahead of it.
